 vention: PET-CON 2025.2 September 04-05, 2025, University of Salzburg (Salz
 burg, Austria)\n\n We invite you to attend PET-CON 2025.2 – the 14th conven
 tion on Privacy-Enhancing Techniques, taking place in Austria for the first
  time. PET-CON brings together students (B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD), junior researc
 hers, privacy activists, and other interested people to discuss work in pro
 gress. PET-CON is organized by the PET special interest group of the German
  Informatics Society (GI). Previous PET-CONs took place at University of Ha
 mburg, University of Regensburg, TU Darmstadt, RWTH Aachen, Goethe Universi
 ty Frankfurt, University of Göttingen, TU Berlin, and TU Dresden.\n\nPET-CO
 N is an explicitly informal gathering that welcomes various forms of contri
 butions. The main workshop features short contributed talks (10-15 minutes)
  followed by extensive feedback and discussions (up to 45 minutes). For ins
 tance, students can present planned, ongoing, and recently finished theses 
 and projects to receive feedback. We also accept presentations of papers th
 at have already been published elsewhere. Alternatively, you can also atten
 d the convention without giving a talk at all and simply participate in the
  discussions.\n\n TOPICS OF INTEREST\n\n 	Privacy Enhancing Technologies 	P
 rivacy Engineering 	Inter- and Transdisciplinary Perspectives to Privacy 	(
 e.g., techno-legal, techno-economic, ...) \n\nIn the past, there have been 
 presentations on abuse detection and protection of PETs, anonymous routing,
  application layer privacy, big data and data protection, economics of PETs
 , end-user education and training for PETs, HCI issues and usability of PET
 s, intrusion detection while respecting privacy, location privacy, metrics 
 for quality of protection by the PETs, performance measurement/benchmarking
  and optimization, privacy engineering, privacy for mobile networks and sma
 rtphone applications, privacy in IoT environments, related legal issues (da
 ta protection), transparency-enhancing technologies, etc.\n\n\n\nDATES AND 
 TIMES\n\nWorkshop: September 04-05, 2025\n\nThe workshop begins on Thursday
 , September 04 at 1:30 pm and concludes on Friday, September 05 at 2:00 pm.
  Lunch is scheduled on both days at 12:00 pm, and there will be a group din
 ner on Thursday evening. Please note that all meals are self-paid.\n\nLunch
  will be arranged locally (e.g., at a canteen) and will offer vegan, vegeta
 rian, and non-vegetarian options. Further details, including the restaurant
