DESCRIPTION:CALL FOR PARTICIPATION\n\n16th Privacy Enhancing Techniques Con
 vention: PET-CON 2026.2 September 28-29, 2026, University of luebeck\n\nWe 
 invite you to attend PET-CON 2026.2 – the 16th convention on Privacy-Enhanc
 ing Technologies, in Luebeck. PET-CON brings together students (B.Sc., M.Sc
 ., PhD), junior researchers, privacy activists, and other interested people
  to discuss work in progress. PET-CON is organized by the PET special inter
 est group of the German Informatics Society (GI). Previous PET-CONs took pl
 ace at KIT, University of Salzburg, University of Hamburg, University of Re
 gensburg, TU Darmstadt, RWTH Aachen, Goethe University Frankfurt, Universit
 y of Göttingen, TU Berlin and TU Dresden.\n\nPET-CON is an explicitly infor
 mal gathering with the prime focus on fostering networking within the commu
 nity, and it welcomes various forms of contributions. The main workshop fea
 tures short contributed talks (10-15 minutes) followed by extensive feedbac
 k and discussions. Additionally there will be enough room for poster sessio
 ns and networking in smaller groups. Allowed are any ongoing, finished or p
 lanned works, that you wish to get feedback on or discuss with interested r
 esearchers. Alternatively you can attend without an own topic and just conn
 ect with people and participate in the discussions.\n\n TOPICS OF INTEREST\

 isciplinary Perspectives to Privacy (e.g., techno-legal, techno-economic, .
 ..) \n\nIn the past, there have been presentations on anonymous communicati
 onn, statistical disclosure control and differential privacy, abuse detecti
 on and protection of PETs, anonymous routing, application layer privacy, bi
 g data and data protection, economics of PETs, end-user education and train
 ing for PETs, HCI issues and usability of PETs, intrusion detection while r
 especting privacy, location privacy, metrics for quality of protection by t
 he PETs, performance measurement/benchmarking and optimization, privacy eng
 ineering, privacy for mobile networks and smartphone applications, privacy 
 in IoT environments, related legal issues (data protection), transparency-e
 nhancing technologies, etc. If you are unsure if your topics fit, feel free
  to contact us.\n\n\n\nDATES AND TIMES\n\nWorkshop: September 28-29, 2026\n
 \nThe workshop begins on Monday, September 28 at 12:00 pm and concludes on 
 Tuesday, September 29 at 2:00 pm. Lunch is scheduled on both days at 12:00 
 pm, and there will be a group dinner on monday evening. Please note that al
 l meals are self-paid.\n\nLunch will be arranged locally (e.g., at a cantee
 n) and will offer vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian options. Further de
